Early Onset Dementia is often referred to as young onset dementia. It should be differentiated from Early Stage Dementia which more appropriately describes someone older in the early stages of dementia. For most, Early Onset Dementia runs in the family.

About Us
To some, they may be a friend or a family member. To others, they may remain nameless. But to us, he was Joe.
In his fifties, Joe began facing challenges in maintaining steady employment. He experienced memory lapses, disorientation, and difficulty focusing, which hindered his ability to function. Misdiagnosed and with limited support, Joe was at risk of becoming homeless. After countless doctor visits, it was eventually determined that he was suffering from Early Onset Dementia..
A group of Joe’s childhood friends founded EOD Remember Me to raise funds that are directly used to provide housing and proper care for those living with Early Onset Dementia (EOD). Although Joe has since passed, the charity continues in his honor, working to support others affected by this debilitating disease. Through our efforts, we have been able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those suffering from EOD. Our goal is to expand our reach by offering financial assistance, guidance, and a safe environment, ensuring individuals can live with the care and dignity they deserve.

Scott Taroff
Volunteer, founder and Chairman of the EOD advisory board
Scott is President and CEO of Oilmatic in both New Jersey and Georgia. He founded the company over 20 years ago. Oilmatic helps with green initiatives, while solving problems for clients on how to dispose of used cooking oil.
Prior to Oilmatic Scott was a Senior leader at ADP for 20 years in both sales and client service,
Scott is a Board Member of GJE in Palm Beach Gardens
Scott’s passion for helping people and giving back is what drives him on a daily basis. He helps elders with Dementia who can not run their daily lives and pay their bills. He is also very active and passionate with people suffering from EOD. This started out as helping a friend and has turned into a mission to spread knowledge and resources to those in need.
Carla Pisani
Volunteer, Founder, Board of Director/Secretary
Carla Pisani is a dedicated advocate for the well-being of children and the elderly in need. She channels her energy and passions into various endeavors to help others. Carla actively sits on the board of Gardens Jewish Experience as well as Remember Me Early Onset Dementia
She has been instrumental in working with The Kids Sanctuary Campus and Place of Hope, organizations dedicated to supporting abandoned and abused children. With over three decades of entrepreneurial experience in the medical marketing industry, Carla brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and compassion to our organization. Residing in Florida, she is also a proud grandparent to seven grandchildren.
